Cyclone™ Thin Client - The Cyclone™ Thin Client terminal is designed for rugged environments that require thin client computing. The Cyclone™ thin client hardware comes standard as a thin client embedded XP terminal or can be configured as a thin client Linux terminal. Each unit can be configured to run thin client Citrix , terminal services, 5250 emulation, 3270 emulation or VT320 emulation. This gives the Cyclone™ the flexibility to attach to any thin client server. Each Cyclone™ thin client comes standard with two Ethernet hardwire connections. The Cyclone™ thin client PC can be ordered as a wireless thin client. The Cyclone™ comes equipped with an optional PCMCIA slot and supports the most popular radios: Cisco, Symbol, and Avaya. Input/Output ports include a PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse, and serial port. All Cyclone™ network pc’s can support barcode scanners and resistive touch screens.

Unlike other thin client terminals such as Wyse thin client terminals, the Cyclone™ is enclosed in a NEMA 4X housing. This protects the unit from the demanding environments that are found in industrial applications.

The Cyclone™ thin client technology and thin client architecture is ideal for any rugged industrial computing environment.

The Cyclone™ thin client enclosure adheres to the NEMA 4X specification. The unit can be wall mounted, desk mounted or mounted with a standard VESA 100mm X 100mm or 60mm X 60mm bracket or arm. If the wall mount bracket is selected a keyboard bracket can be added to allow a keyboard to be attached to the terminal. The bracket will support one of two types of sealed keyboards: Typhoon 104-key or 80-key keyboards. The rugged Cyclone™ thin client network PC is perfect for rough environments.
