This STORE-RAID solution is complete with 9 sets of HDAGCOLB fixed HDD mounting brackets to house 9 Hard drives in IDE or SCSI.  The RDRKDS50 American Made rack mount chassis in rugged steel, is designed to reliably house up to nine 5.25" devices.  This solution  is complete with internal U160 Amphenol cabling/AMP heads, and rear panel connections.

Chassis Features:

  • Standard Rack Mount Design: 6.91" (4U) x 19" x 25.09".
  • Modular Design.  Access panels provide for easy multi-rank wiring and part swapping.
  • Rear Panel Supports up to Four I/Os.
  • Rugged Steel Construction.  Provides a durable enclosure with superior heat dissipation.
  • Houses Almost any 3.5 inch and 5.25 inch SCSI Devices.  Standard size storage bay(s) house tape, floppy, DVD, ZIP and hard drives, or RAID controllers.
  • Two 300/400Watt* Power Supplies.  Enhanced, auto-ranging load-sharing, hot swappable power supplies. (*This value represents the continuous, "rated" wattage for the power supply. This power supply is capable of providing a "peak" wattage of 500 watts during spin-up of high performance drives.
  • 231 CFM (Max.) Fan Cooling. Four highly-rated, (two in power supply & two at back of chassis) fans provide excellent cooling for long hours of operation.
  • Front Panel Display.  Front panel indicators display important operating conditions such as power on/off, temperature warning, and fan or power failure(s).
  • Thermal temperature control card and alarmed monitoring mechanisms.  An alarm (which can be disabled by the operator) will sound if any warning or failure conditions occur.

HDD Cooling Kits:

Uses 9 of HDAGCOLB, with 3 independent intake fans on each cooling kit, a total of 9 IDE/SCSI Hard drives. Hard drives vary from 9GB to 72GB.

  • Dual Belkin terminators for fault resilience.
  • External U160 6' cable (optional dual inputs).
